Omdia, a leading global technology research firm, highlighted Huawei Cloud Stack’s strong performance in two key subcategories: solution breadth and market momentum. The company’s cloud management platform (CMP), ManageOne, was particularly praised for its ability to help businesses effectively manage both private and public cloud resources. Huawei’s comprehensive monitoring system enables enterprises to track a wide array of resources including cloud services, applications, and physical devices.
One of the standout features of Huawei Cloud Stack, according to Omdia, is its advanced observability and monitoring capabilities. The platform offers full-stack, multidimensional monitoring, which covers everything from physical hardware to cloud resources. Huawei Cloud Stack’s ManageOne platform facilitates fine-grained resource monitoring, providing enterprises with real-time insights to optimise performance and reliability.
In the area of data management, Omdia noted Huawei Cloud Stack’s innovative use of AI to enhance data quality operations. The platform monitors six crucial aspects of data quality: integrity, accuracy, timeliness, consistency, effectiveness, and uniqueness. The report emphasised Huawei’s ability to automatically generate data quality rules based on established data standards. Additionally, Huawei’s cross-source engines allow for in-depth analysis and reconciliation of data from different IT systems, ensuring that data management is both accurate and reliable.
Security management was another area where Huawei Cloud Stack excelled. The platform’s security architecture is designed with multiple layers of defence, offering end-to-end protection from platform to tenant level. Omdia highlighted Huawei’s SecMaster security operations centre, which provides real-time monitoring and automated processing of security events, handling up to 99% of incidents automatically. Huawei’s cloud-native security system is further enhanced by collaborations with ecosystem partners, ensuring a comprehensive and secure cloud environment for its users.
