Horgan Homes Launches Bungalow Development in Lincolnshire

Award-winning house builder Horgan Homes has announced its expansion into Lincolnshire with the launch of a new development aimed at addressing the county’s shortage of high-quality bungalows. The company is currently constructing 30 contemporary-styled two, three, and four-bedroom bungalows and dormer bungalows in Mareham-Le-Fen, located off Main Road.

This new project, named St Helen’s Place, marks Horgan Homes’ first large-scale residential development outside of the West Midlands. The move is seen as a significant milestone for the company, which has been delivering luxury homes across the West Midlands for over 30 years.

Sophie Horgan, Director of Horgan Homes, explained that the development would be built using local resources, with a workforce and supply chain drawn from within Lincolnshire. “It’s really important to us that the local community sees the benefit of our developments,” she said. “That’s why we’re delighted to be on site in Mareham-Le-Fen, using local labour and materials.”

Horgan went on to highlight the company’s commitment to quality and its established reputation for attention to detail, which has earned it numerous accolades, including a What House? award for Best Luxury House and two International Property Awards. “In recent years, we’ve developed a reputation for our award-winning luxury homes,” she said. “Now, we’re excited to bring that expertise to new markets, including Lincolnshire, with a focus on stylish and sustainable homes.”

The new homes at St Helen’s Place are designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality bungalows in the region. The development will offer a range of property styles, all featuring modern and energy-efficient elements, including air source heat pumps, photovoltaic panels (PV), and integrated Bosch appliances. The homes will also feature high-end finishes, such as Minoli tiling and garages.

The first homes in the development, which will include four different property styles, are set to be launched in Spring 2025. The bungalows, each designed with modern living in mind, will cater to families, downsizers, and those looking for a more accessible living space in a rural setting.

Horgan Homes’ entry into the Lincolnshire market is seen as a positive step for both the company and the local community, with the development expected to bring economic benefits to the area, as well as much-needed housing options.

The development follows a series of successful projects across the West Midlands, where Horgan Homes has built a strong portfolio of high-end residential properties. The company’s move into Lincolnshire signals an exciting phase of growth and expansion.
