Ravyn Lenae Blue Island Tour Pushed to New Year After Fall Postponement

Ravyn Lenae Blue Island tour

Ravyn Lenae has postponed the Ravyn Lenae Blue Island tour across North America, pulling all September and October dates just weeks after the album’s release. The R&B singer broke the news via an Instagram Story, citing a conversation with her team, though no specific reason was given.

‘After talking with my team, I’ve made the difficult decision to postpone touring this fall,’ Lenae wrote, in a post viewed by Pitchfork. ‘I hate to disappoint you. Connecting with my fans through live performance is one of my favorite experiences as an artist but promise when I bring the show to you in the new year it will be worth the wait.’

Blue Island Landed Just Weeks Before the Dates Were Due

Blue Island was released on 7 August, according to Billboard, meaning Lenae would have hit the road barely six weeks after the record dropped. That’s an unusually tight turnaround, and while no official explanation has been given, the proximity between release and a packed headline run spanning 24 North American cities speaks for itself. A tour cycle that compressed rarely leaves much room.

The postponed run was a substantial undertaking: rooms like The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, Kings Theatre in New York, and The Anthem in Washington D.C. were on the bill, alongside mid-size venues across Chicago, Toronto, Atlanta and a string of other cities. The scale of it suggests this wasn’t a low-key club run, it was a proper album campaign built for momentum, now rescheduled to a new-year slot yet to be confirmed.

European Festival Sets Still Going Ahead

Lenae will still honour three European festival appearances this month. She’s booked at All Points East in London on 28 August, Kalorma in Lisbon on 29 August, and Electric Picnic in County Laois, Ireland on 30 August. Those sets remain on, giving European audiences a window to hear the new material while North American fans wait.

For context on where Lenae stands as a live draw: her 2024 set Bird’s Eye included ‘Love Me Not,’ which Billboard confirms as her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100. That kind of chart foothold tends to shift the scale of what’s expected from a headline tour, and the venues on this Blue Island run reflect that upward trajectory. Postponing it isn’t a minor reshuffling of a few club dates; it’s a meaningful decision about a campaign built around real momentum.

The full list of postponed North American dates runs from 15 September in Sacramento through to 21 October in Los Angeles, touching most major markets in between. No rescheduled dates have been announced.

Lenae’s note made clear the postponement was a reluctant call rather than a withdrawal: the Ravyn Lenae Blue Island tour is still coming, just not this autumn. She’s promised the rescheduled show ‘will be worth the wait’, the kind of language that lands better when there’s already a proven connection between artist and audience. Given the rooms she’d already booked, that connection was clearly there.

Rescheduled dates are expected in early 2026. Watch the Blue Island campaign for announcements.
