The Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award 2025 has extended its deadline for submissions following an overwhelming global response. Organisers confirmed that over 100,000 registrations from more than 200 countries had been received, surpassing previous editions. Nurses now have until 9 March 2025 to submit their nominations via the official platform, www.asterguardians.com.
Now in its fourth year, the Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award recognises the vital contributions of nurses worldwide. Since its inception in 2022, the award has aimed to celebrate those who demonstrate exceptional dedication and impact in the healthcare sector.
Global Participation Grows
The response to this year’s edition has been unprecedented. The 2024 ceremony, held in Bengaluru, India, saw Filipino nurse Maria Victoria Juan take home the top honour. Her work has since led to the launch of the #BeOneMovement, an initiative focused on lifesaving training and environmental stewardship.
Reflecting on the award’s impact, Dr Azad Moopen, Founder Chairman and Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare, said:
“Nurses are the backbone of healthcare, providing unwavering care and compassion that shape patient outcomes. Their dedication is the foundation on which the healthcare system stands. The Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award is our way of recognising and honouring these unsung heroes—those who work tirelessly to advance healthcare and make a lasting difference in countless lives.”
A Platform for Nurses Worldwide
The 2025 edition has drawn interest from nurses across regions including the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, Africa, the Americas, and Europe. With growing global recognition, Aster DM Healthcare continues to highlight the essential role of nursing professionals.
The award’s extension gives more nurses an opportunity to showcase their contributions, ensuring their work is recognised on an international stage.
