The Ministry We Hate video has arrived, and it does exactly what you’d expect from a band who’ve spent decades making industrial music that sounds like machinery breaking down in fury. Taken from their upcoming final album Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), the clip deploys AI-generated imagery to turn Donald Trump’s own favoured media weapon squarely back on him.
‘It’s pretty self-evident that Ministry has never been a big fan of “Hair Mussolini”,’ the band say. ‘Especially now, as he bombards the American public on a near-daily basis with his self-aggrandising AI slop. We just felt it necessary to give “Trumplethinskin” a dose of his own medicine.’
What the Ministry We Hate video actually shows
The clip runs through a catalogue of AI-rendered scenarios: Trump depicted as a goat-cradling clergyman, sitting on a golden throne drinking ‘Hate Cola’, sharing what the band describe as a passionate kiss with an ICE agent, and rendered as fictional serial killer Hannibal Lecter. The chorus of We Hate is sung in German, translating as ‘He is a pig / He is a moron / He is a thief’, while the female voice on the outro, also in German, paraphrases The Blond Beast from philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche’s On the Genealogy of Morality. The Blond Beast is a character representing the primal, predatory instinct of conquering humans.
‘[It’s] eerily predictive,’ the band say of the Nietzsche reference. ‘But it doesn’t take a “Nostradumbass” to know this is not going to end well.’
It’s blunt, it’s loud, and it’s entirely on brand for a group who’ve never confused subtlety with compromise. Whether or not you agree with the politics, the craft of the provocation is unmistakably Ministry.
Final album confirmed for October 2026 via Cleopatra Records
Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery) is now confirmed as Ministry’s 17th and final studio album, set for release on 30 October 2026 via Cleopatra Records, according to both Side-Line and Rolling Stone. That release date gives the record a Halloween-adjacent landing, which feels less like coincidence and more like someone in the camp has a sense of occasion.
We Hate is the latest track lifted from the record ahead of that release, and if it’s setting any kind of tone, the album looks set to be as confrontational as anything in the back catalogue.
Ministry’s Goodbye Europe tour: UK dates included
Alongside the video, Ministry have confirmed the European leg of their farewell world tour. The Goodbye Europe run kicks off in Utrecht, Holland on 2 April 2027, with UK dates at Manchester O2 Victoria Warehouse on 6 April and London Troxy on 10 April. Nottingham’s Rock City gets a visit on 9 April. The tour continues through France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland before closing in Helsinki on 1 May 2027.
Frontman Jourgensen has been characteristically direct about what all of this means. ‘I’m fucking done,’ he says. ‘I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. I’m amazed at the path that it’s taken, from With Sympathy to where we’re at today, and all points in between. It’s been quite a ride, but I’m completely at peace with the fact that it’s done. It’s time to herd goats.’
That last line loops back neatly to the video, where a goat-cradling Trump opens proceedings. Whether intentional or not, there’s a certain poetry in a band who’ve spent four decades rattling against power choosing to spend their final creative act making their target look ridiculous. Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery) lands 30 October 2026 on Cleopatra Records, and the Ministry Goodbye Europe tour follows in spring 2027.
