Jennie Fallen Angel EP Lands 28 August via Odd Atelier and Columbia

Jennie Fallen Angel EP

The Jennie Fallen Angel EP has a release date, a tracklist, and now a time to mark in your calendar: the three-track digital release drops on 28 August 2026 via Jennie’s own label, Odd Atelier, and Columbia, picking up where her solo debut left off and pushing things somewhere more personal.

What’s on the Fallen Angel EP

The EP runs three tracks: the title track ‘Fallen Angel’, followed by ‘Heaven’ and ‘Less Than a Lover’. A teaser for the ‘Fallen Angel’ music video is already circulating, and the full video lands alongside the record on the 28th. Cover art is also out now.

According to Jennie’s official Weverse notice, the EP drops at 1:00 PM KST, which translates to 12:00 AM EDT. It will be available as a digital EP on streaming platforms worldwide, so no physical format to chase down this time.

The notice describes the project as coming from ‘JENNIE’s very personal place in her heart and the truest self-expression.’ That framing puts some distance between Fallen Angel and the bigger-budget pop manoeuvres you might expect from a release on a major. Three tracks, a clear artistic statement, no filler.

Jennie Fallen Angel EP in context: a busy year

This comes off the back of a stretch that has kept Jennie firmly in the conversation. Her 2025 solo debut, Ruby, marked the proper launch of her career outside the group, and the momentum has not let up. Blackpink themselves returned earlier this year with their own EP, Deadline, keeping the wider machine ticking over.

Then there is the Tame Impala situation. Jennie guested on a remix of ‘Dracula’, and that track is currently sitting at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 after peaking at No. 5 last month. It is a peculiar crossover on paper, Kevin Parker’s psych-rock world colliding with K-pop’s most globally visible solo act, but the chart position suggests it landed with a lot of people who do not necessarily sit in either fanbase.

The Odd Atelier and Columbia Records partnership is worth watching here. Odd Atelier is Jennie’s own label, which gives her creative control that most artists at her level do not get to claim. A three-track EP described in explicitly personal terms (‘truest self-expression’ is the phrase used) reads like someone making the most of that independence rather than delivering a product shaped by committee.

Three songs is a lean format. No room for a throwaway interlude or a streaming-bait filler cut. ‘Fallen Angel’, ‘Heaven’, ‘Less Than a Lover’: that arc in the titles alone hints at something with a bit of emotional weight to it, though the music will do the actual arguing. The video teaser is already out if you want a first look before the full release.

The Jennie Fallen Angel EP arrives on streaming platforms worldwide at 1:00 PM KST on 28 August 2026.
