The Rio da Yung OG new album, The World Is Yours, has been announced for release on 11 September via M.I.N.E. Ent. and EMPIRE. The Flint rapper is back with another project, and he has wasted no time signalling its arrival.
Alongside the announcement, Rio dropped a new track called “Finna Drop (Tour)”, and it arrives with a music video to match. According to The Music Universe, that video was shot around his current 26-date 2026 U.S. World Is M.I.N.E. Tour, making the whole thing feel less like a conventional promo drop and more like a document of a rapper who simply will not slow down.
A Platinum Rapper Working at Tour Speed
Rio is a platinum-selling rapper from Flint, Michigan, and the pace at which he is moving right now reflects how much ground he wants to cover. Since his release from federal prison in 2024, he put out two full LPs in short order: Rio Free, which featured the titular first-day-out freestyle that got everyone talking, and F.L.I.N.T. (Feeling Like I’m Not Through). The titles speak for themselves.
The World Is M.I.N.E. Tour follows what The Music Universe describes as a massive 62-date Welcome Home Tour in 2025. Much of The World Is Yours was recorded around that touring cycle, which explains why the project already feels road-tested before a tracklist has even been confirmed. Rio has not yet revealed the full lineup of tracks, but “Finna Drop (Tour)” gives a clear enough indication of his current headspace: he is on the move and recording as he goes.

Born on 11 May 1994, according to his Apple Music profile, Rio is recording and releasing at a rate that would test most artists operating under comfortable label conditions, let alone someone rebuilding momentum after time away. Two albums in a single year, a 62-date tour, and now a 26-date run with a new project on the way. That is not a comeback arc. That is just output.
