Jessica Dannheisser is a British composer known for her work in film, VR games, television, theatre and contemporary music.

Recent scores include Suffragettes With Lucy Worsley, a feature-length drama-doc for BBC One marking the centenary of female suffrage. Jessica is excited by the potential of virtual reality, recently scoring Sky VR’s groundbreaking experience Hold The World featuring Sir David Attenborough in London’s Natural History Museum. Her love of documentaries has brought her to score features including Knuckle,  Emmy award-winning WWII From Space (History Channel), Miracle Landing on the Hudson (National Geographic), and BBC One’s three-part drama-documentary Six Wives. Jessica particularly enjoys scoring comedy, scores include forthcoming romantic comedy feature film Daddy Issues, two seasons of BBC Three’s Siblings, and 2017 BBC Christmas special Eric Ernie & Me.

Jessica has received several PRS funding awards for her work in theatre which includes scores for an acclaimed reimagining of Shakespeare’s The Tempest at London’s Barbican Centre. Jessica is currently collaborating with some of the creative team behind War Horse on a production of Jackie The Baboon which is based on a true story of a baboon-mascot who ‘fought’ alongside a South African regiment in the trenches of WWI.

As an arranger Jessica has worked with artists from Bryan Ferry to Kasabian. She orchestrated and performed in Ilan Eshkeri’s Sadler’s Wells ballet score Narcissus and Echo, and arranged and performed in The Cinematic Orchestra concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall and Roundhouse.
