Hailing from Philadelphia, Steph moved to the UK to study sound technology at LIPA. After graduating she moved to London, to work up the ranks as an engineer and producer. Within a few years of graduating, she engineered Kasabian’s latest no. 1 album ‘For Crying Out Loud’ recorded at RAK studios. She has since moved into writing and production. Her first full album that she produced, engineered and mixed – ‘We Used To Bloom’ by Denai Moore – was released on Because records to critical acclaim. Her most recent work includes writing with artists such as Lisa Mitchell (Warners), Billy Lockett (Warners), Rocky NTI (Virgin), engineering various sessions for Mumford & Sons and Bruno Major, and producing the latest single from Transgressive’s Boniface. Steph is an inspiring young producer/writer/engineer who is taking the industry by storm. She continues to forge strong relationships with artists and A&R’s alike due not only to her impressive technical/music ability and incomparable work ethic, but also her calm confidence in the studio, which yields fresh original results.
