Stefi started her PR career at creative agency, Midas, looking after a breadth of clients and events across the arts, culture and charity sectors. Moving into the music industry in 2014, she joined PPL where she developed national, regional and broadcast media campaigns. Stefi is now the public relations lead for PRS for Music, the UK's performing rights organisation representing a network of over two million songwriters, music producers, composers and music publishers, across the globe. In 2017, 6.6 trillion performances of music were reported to PRS for Music, with £717m collected on behalf of its members, making it one of the world’s leading music organisations ensuring creators are paid whenever their songs and compositions are broadcast, streamed, downloaded, performed, or played in public.
Stefi’s role at PRS for Music brings songwriters, composers, and the value of their work to the fore, whether that’s through campaigns on: UK and global creative economies, impactful legislation such as the EU Copyright Directive and Music Modernization Act, research into Intellectual Property and music piracy, advancements in music recognition technology and data initiatives, such as blockchain, or education and support for those at the very start of their music careers.
Stefi is also a Values Ambassador for PRS for Music, ensuring diversity and inclusion are high on the agenda.
