    About Stacey

Stacey Tang has established herself as one of the most well-respected executives in the industry. She has delivered time and again breaking domestic artists internationally and subsequently has achieved huge commercial success for the British music industry.

In September 2018 Stacey was promoted to MD of RCA UK where is currently responsible for managing the marketing and digital teams and strategy for the label’s diverse and rich roster. Prior to that, Stacey was at Columbia Records - joining in 2012 as Senior Marketing Manager and being promoted sequentially, ending her time at the label as Co-MD.

In 2017, Stacey was vital in the development and implementation of strategy for Columbia Records and worked tirelessly to energise the label and retain its commercial position as one of the leading labels in the business. Columbia ended 2017 with six No. 1 albums [Kasabian, Rag’n’Bone Man, Harry Styles, Foo Fighters, The Script and Arcade Fire] - more than any other company and subsequently had doubled their album market share year-on-year.

Stacey played a fundamental role in launching the career of the UK’s biggest global breakthrough act of recent years - Rag’n’Bone Man– who in 2017 became the fastest-selling male debut of the decade and has to date, achievedtriple-platinum status in the UK, sold more than three million albums globally and won three BRIT awards. In March 2018, she spearheaded George Ezra’s triumphant return with his second album [Staying at Tamara’s], which saw him achieve his first No.1, now platinum-selling and the best-selling new release of 2018. Plus, her work with Calvin Harris on One Kiss saw him achieve his second consecutive million seller [following Feels] and his sixth Number 1 overall. The track also saw him achieve his longest ever run at No.1 in the UK singles chart.Prior to this, Stacey also steeredGeorge Ezra’s debut album Wanted On Voyage which launched his career, going to No.1 in the UK albums charts and has now sold more than a million copies in the UK.

Outside of Stacey’s demanding job, she still finds time to inspire the future generation, sharing pearls of wisdom at The Ultimate Seminar, BBC Music Introducing hosts Amplify and the BPI’s inaugural Wisdom Wednesday event. In addition to investing in the youth, she joins a forward-thinking super group of prominent leaders on the Digital Future Council – to bridge the gap between media and technology. They debuted in Cannes earlier this year with a series of events focused on Blockchain.
