    About Simon

    Simon Raymonde is an English musician and record producer. He is the son of the late arranger and composer Ivor Raymonde. He is most known as the bass guitarist and keyboard player with the Scottish band Cocteau Twins. For the past 20 years Raymonde has run the record label Bella Union, which he also co-founded. In the summer of 2015, he started a new musical project with musician Richard Thomas (formerly of Dif Juz and Jesus and Mary Chain), called Lost Horizons. They released their debut album, Ojalá in 2017 with artists like Ghostpoet, Liela Moss, Tim Smith from Midlake etc all providing guest vocals. Album 2 is currently being mixed for release in 2020. Simon also co-manages the band Penelope Isles with his wife and partner Abbey.
