Ryan Wright has spent 20 years marketing the world’s biggest superstars. As head of Global Marketing for Sony Music from 2008-2013, Ryan led Sony’s marketing teams and artist campaigns around the world for Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Michael Jackson, Maroon 5, ACDC, Usher, Elvis, and many more. Ryan began his career at Samsung in 1996, based in Seoul, Korea where he signed the Backstreet Boys to Samsung Music for the Korean market. At the age of 24, Backstreet Boys’ label Jive Records appointed Ryan to runmarketing in Asia Pacific where he oversaw the launch of Britney Spears and N'SYNC across Asia. Following BMG’s acquisition of Jive Records in 2003, Ryan was appointed Vice-President of Global Marketing for BMG, relocating to New York City where he led global campaigns for P!nk, Alicia Keys, The Strokes, Dido, Annie Lennox, Kings of Leon, Outkast, Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, and more. Ryan joined Kobalt in 2013.
