Rachael Bee ran some of the seminal black music nights of the early 90’s and went onto become a radio & TV journalist/presenter working for the BBC, Kiss FM, Live TV, ITV. In 1999 she launched Impact Ventures, the company behind the MTV Lick Parties, MTV’s Base on the Beach, Base Lounge, Flava Tour for Channel 4, the MOBO Unsigned Tour, MTV's DFC Parties and marketing campaigns for Ms Dynamite (Polydor), Big Brovaz, Lemar, The 411 (Sony) and Beverly Knight (EMI) amongst many. Rachael joined Def Jam Records as Consultant General Manager for it’s UK launch and went on to manage Ladies First (Polydor) and Aaron Soul (Def Jam). She is now owner and MD of ILUVLIVE, a not for profit live music and artist development platform running 40 events annually across six UK cities. ILUVLIVE is supported by Arts Council England. Their sister companies iluvlive records and iluvlive management look after Izzy Bizu and Emmavie.
