Oliver is a Digital Marketing Manager at Polydor UK looking after an eclectic roster of artists from Stefflon Don to The 1975, Elbow to Becky Hill, M.O to Friendly Fires.
After blogging at festivals through the summer of 2014, it was in 2015 when he started as media planner/buyer for Polydor, Island & Fiction records at Mediacom. Over 2 years he built end to end media plans for an array of successful campaigns from Drake’s ‘Views’, to The Maccabees final number one album, to The Weeknd’s breakthrough UK success ‘Beauty Behind The Madness’ & The 1975’s ‘I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It’.
At the end of 2016 Oliver joined Polydor as their in house dedicated digital planner before moving in to the Digital Marketing Manager role at the label a year later, taking his wealth of social advertising experience, analysis & insight with him. Over 5 years developing a deep understanding of the evolution of social media channels, the content they host & how their role has evolved in artist campaigns to reach new audiences & keep fans coming back for more.
