Obsessed with songwriting from thirteen years of age, Matt Gallagher’s brothers (who scraped together to buy him his first guitar) clearly saw that he had potential.
With a voice and multi-instrumental ability reminiscent of Charlie Puth or Shawn Mendes, the half-British, half-American singer/songwriter has already written and produced two BBC Introducing 'Records of The Week', and is a member of Kobalt's indie label, AWAL.
Last year he was the opening artist for Tom Kerridge’s wildly successful Pub In The Park festival, and supported Zane Carney (guitarist for John Mayer, Avril Lavigne) at his most recent London show. This summer, he played at the historic Blenheim Palace grounds on the Introducing stage at BBC Countryfile Live.
Along with writing and producing for a variety of other artists, Matt is currently recording an EP for release in 2019.
