Jerry Williams is a self-releasing 22-year-old Indie pop singer songwriter from Portsmouth who draws her inspiration from her life growing up and the lives of others around her. Jerry started writing music from the age of 12 whilst studying classical guitar in which she got to Grade 8 standard and played her first ever gig at 17 at the Eastney Cellars Portsmouth. The last 12 months have been very busy, highlights include Jerry representing BBC Introducing at SXSW and The Great Escape, being invited to perform for Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg and recently supporting USA band SWMRS on their European tour, Sir Tom Jones at his sold-out Chester Racecourse 16k show and GIRLI asking Jerry to be main support for her OCT uk tour.
With an album written and a single to be released every 8 weeks 2018/19 promises to be very busy for Jerry, working alongside the likes of Luke Smith (Foals, Crystal Fighters, ) Duncan Mills (Bad Sounds, Vaccines) James Earp ( Lewis Capaldi Fickle Friends)
Already a five-year veteran of the music business. Jerry is honoured to be asked to talk on two panels for BBC Introducing 2018.
