    About Georgie

    Georgie Rogers is an established broadcaster music journalist, voiceover artist and DJ. A tastemaker and new music champion she regularly contributes her warmth knowledge and passion to BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2, Beats 1, Soho Radio, Foundation FM and Monocle 24.

    BBC 6 Music has been her spiritual home for the past decade where she works as a broadcast music reporter heard regularly bantering with Shaun Keaveny, while her interviews and investigative pieces with some of the biggest names in music are aired on the network.

    She cut her teeth in broadcasting as a DJ on XFM for four years followed by two on Virgin Radio producing curating and hosting her Music Discovery show.

    As a DJ her decks time has resulted in sets ranging from Glastonbury's Shangri La to the great hall of the V&A Museum, lake stages to big tops and even mountain tops as is the case at Meadows in the Mountains in Bulgaria.

    Georgie's presented video content and events for Rolling Stones, Vevo, Secret Sessions, The Beatles and recently co-founded the Super Women platform to nurture female filmmakers while making a series of short films about trailblazers across music motorsports politics and tech.
