    About Christine Brown

Christine Brown has had a ten-year tenure at Help Musicians UK, where she has risen up the ranks from a temp to today where she holds the position of Director Of External Affairs & Business Development. With an early career at Decca Records, Christine has a wealth of experience of the music industry, and co-authored HMUK’s transformational Agenda 2021 strategy that takes the charity into its centenary year.

In late 2016, Christine spearheaded the most successful campaign in HMUK's history, the Can Music Make You Sick? academic study, which was the biggest research into mental health in the music industry and attracted global headlines. This success continued with the launch and delivery of the industry's most comprehensive 24/7 mental health service and support line, Music Minds Matter.

Christine has also been instrumental in the charity's #HearforMusicians campaign, successfully launched HMUK’s first regional brand in Northern Ireland in 2016 and is designing the organisation’s first-ever business development strategy.
