Bridgitte Tetteh is an award-winning broadcaster with over 15years' experience. Most recently presenting discussion from the Live Lounge titled R1Xtra Talks-Stephen Lawrence 25 Years On. A pioneering project My Mind and Me, was broadcast across R1XTRA and The Asian Network. The discussion about mental health in Black and Asian communities was recognised by winning a Mind Media award. Bridgitte is passionate about sharing the stories and issues of those from BAME communities and this year presented the documentaries Single Black Female and Curvalicious for BBC Radio 4. She was shortlisted for a Sanford St Martin Award for her interview with a mum who lost her son in London bombings and also won a New York Radio Festival Gold Award in 2008. When Bridgitte is not being a news hound she can normally be found at one of Berkshires many music venues supporting up and coming musicians.
