Blaine Harrison (born Stephen Blaine Harrison on May 23, 1985) is an English musician best known as the lead vocalist of the British indie rock band Mystery Jets. Blaine is a founding member and an Ivor Novello-nominated songwriter. Mystery Jets continue to be one of the most prolific bands currently working in the UK and have released five UK top 40 albums, currently in the finishing stages of their sixth. Blaine has also collaborated with artists as diverse such as Beyond the Wizard's Sleeve, The Shoes and Rudimental and continues to forge his growing reputation as a producer and co-writer at Buff Records, an independent label and production team founded in 2016.
Blaine was born with the disability spina bifida. In 2009 He became a patron of the charity Attitude is Everything, who work with live music venues in the UK to make gigs accessible for people with disabilities. Speaking on BBC breakfast in 2016, Blaine shared the trials of touring with a physical impairment and is passionate about changing the attitudes in the industry towards disabled music audiences and artists.
