Bee Anais is the CEO and Founder of Lion & Wolf - a youth focussed artist management company.
Bee’s journey into artist management began eight years ago with a phone call from Music Week Strat Winner, Sarah Stennett.
At Crown Music and then Turn First Artists, Bee was able to explore various roles including: junior product manager, operations assistant and PA to Ms Stennett before finding her feet in artist management working across multiple projects.
Bee’s career highlights include her work with 7x Multi Platinum selling artist Iggy Azalea during 2013 - 2015 through the rise and release of Azalea’s debut Album, ‘The New Classic’. ‘The New Classic’ peaked inside the top five of the record charts of countries including the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom. The fourth single, “Fancy" featuring Charli XCX, reached #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and peaked within the top five charts of Australia and the United Kingdom. Azalea achieved three top ten hits simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2014.
On returning to the UK in 2015, Bee worked with Brits Critics Choice and BBC Sound Poll 2016 winner Jack Garratt, signed to Island Records, leading up to the release of debut album ‘Phase’ which charted #3 in the UK Albums chart.
In 2016, Bee left First Access Entertainment to focus on youth management within the music industry, dedicating her time to teen artist in development, Sody.
Sody was in full time education until 2017 but had already gained industry recognition with over 5 million independent streams, BBC Introducing play-listing on Radio 1 and performing at Glastonbury on the BBC Introducing stage before sitting her GCSE’s. In addition, Sody signed as a songwriter to Universal Music Publishing in 2016 and as a recording artist to Relentless Records (Sony UK) in 2018 before her 18th birthday.
As an advocate for the importance of educating young artists, Bee states her proudest moment to date was watching 17-year-old Sody argue points in her own recording contract with her record label.
